Bon Jovi Dallas Tickets For the past two decades, Bon Jovi has been one of the most prolific and best selling bands in the world. Since the band’s inception in 1983, they has sold over 120 million albums worldwide. The band’s lead singer, Jon Bon Jovi started the band and it’s original members include Richie Sambora on guitar, David Bryan on keyboards, Alec John Such on bass and Tico Torres on the drums. Alec John Such left in the band in 1994 and the group never replaced him, instead, it rocked on with the remaining four members.

Bon Jovi, came out with two albums in 1984 and 1985 that generated a pretty good response, but hit paydirt in 1986 with their Slippery When Wet album. That album and their 1988 New Jersey album, combined to sell 28 million copies in the United States.
In the early 1990’s Bon Jovi and Richard Sambora released independent projects that both performed well, but the band reunited in 1992 to record Keep the Faith, which sold over two million albums. The band saw continued success in the decade of the nineties and has still sold well in this decade. Originally a hard rock band, the group has recorded, country, rock adult contemporary and pop music.
In 2006, the group won a Grammy award for the song “Who Says You Can’t Go Home”. They collaborated with Jennifer Nettles of the band Sugarland. The song won for Best Country Collaboration. That song went number one on the Country charts. Out of the ten studio albums that the band has released, at least nine of them have sold at least one million copies. The songs “You Give Love a Bad Name,” “I’ll Be There For You,” “Bad Medicine,” and “Living On A Prayer,” have all reached number one on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart. They have also achieved numerous Top 40 and Top 10 chart toppers. The Album New Jersey, alone, provided five, top 10 singles for the group.
