Sales weren't especially strong initially, but it was well received from the critics.
Springsteen's first big commercial hit came in 1980, and it was titled “Hungry Heart”. It was part of the album, The River, finally went on to do well commercial. Springsteen has sold 65 million albums in the United States. He is probably most well-known for two albums Born in the USA. The other, Born to Run. He has also won numerous Academy Awards and Grammy Awards.
Most recently he has won a Grammy award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance in 2007, for “Once Upon a Time in the West,” Best Rock Song in 2007 for “Radio Nowhere”, Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance in 2007 for “Radio Nowhere,” Best Long Form Music Video in 2006 for Wings For Wheels; The Making of Born to Run.
