falling out, and broke up in 1994. Recently, however, the band got back together. They have just released their newest single, entitled "Summertime", which will be featured on their reunion album, which is slated for release sometime in the Fall of 2008. They are also scheduled to tour starting in the summer of 2008 to promote the album. Apparently, the only thing the album is missing is the title.
The New Kids on the Block have released six albums so far, and the reunion album will be their seventh. Their first album, which was self titled, was released in April 1986, and reached 25th in the US, and 6th in the UK. Hangin' Tough, the group's second album, did even better, getting to 1st in the US and UK, and 4th in Germany. Next, they tried a Christmas album, which scored 9th in the US. Step by Step, the group's fourth album which was released in 1990 made 1st in the US, UK, and Germany. Their next two albums, No More Games/The Remix Album, and Face the Music got progressively lower in the charts, preceding the group's break up.
