Panic At The Disco Tickets The group, Panic At The Disco, is made up of Brendon Urie on keyboards, vocals and guitar, Jon Walker on vocals, and bass guitar, Ryan Ross on keyboards, guitar and vocals and Spencer Smith on percussion and drums. Brent Wilson, on bass, was a member of the group for one year, but is no longer with the band.
Panic at The Disco is a band with an ecclectic style of music. There seems to be a little bit of everything in their music. However, dance, electronica, rock and pop seem to be the main -
elements.
The group’s first album hit the shelves in 2005. It was titled, A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out. It was a debut success. It reached the top 25 on the Billboard charts and went platinum. The groups second album is slated to hit the shelves in March of 2008. It is titled, Pretty.Odd and the first single, “Nine in the Afternoon” has already been released. “Nine in the Afternoon,” was used in the television series Hero. This brought some instant publicity to the band and to the song. The second single off Pretty.Odd, will be “That Green Gentlemen.” The band begin writing the new album in 2007. Sometime during this process, they scratched everything and started over.
This year has marked other changes for the band, not all of them being significant. One of those changes was dropping the exclamation point off of the band’s name. The band members insist that it was no big deal and that there really is no significant change because the exclamation point was never really part of the name in the first place. They just simply stopped using it.
Fans interested in preordering the band’s next album, Pretty.Odd, can do so at the band’s Myspace page. Panic At The Disco is currently on a major tour to support the album. The tour is slated to last until June and will hit a ton of U.S. cities both large and small as well as some foreign dates and venues.
