Queen Tickets Queen is a rock band that originated in London, England in 1970. They are led by vocalist Freddie Mercury, Brian May plays the guitar, Roger Taylor plays drums, John Deacon is on base. Queens primary run was in the 1970s, however, they have been one of Britain's most popular bands during the last 30 years. Their album Sheer Heart Attack, which was released in 1974 and A Night at the Opera, really catapulted the group to international stardom. They have been making and selling a ton of albums ever since. In fact, since the year 1975,

the group has seen 18 albums reach number one on various charts around the world.
The band has recorded five live albums, 15 studio albums and a lot of compilation albums. They also sold an incredible number of records. It is believed that the group has sold more than 300 million albums world wide with more than 30 million of those being sold in the United States alone. They are definitely one of the best-selling bands of all time.
In 1991, Freddie Mercury died and John Deacon, retired not too long afterward. Since then, Brian May and Roger Taylor have continued to play under the Queen name. In 2005, they begin working with Paul Rogers. The name of that collaboration was called Queen + Paul Rogers. The group has never actually broken up. However, the last album that they recorded with new music was titled, Made In Heaven, and it came out in 1995. It was nearly four years after Mercury died from AIDS. The band did use some of his final music recordings. However, Queen has done some other collaborations. They performed a collaboration with Wylcef John which was titled “Another One Bites The Dust” and “Somebody To Love” with George Michael. They also performed in 1997 with Elton John, the song titled, “The Show Must Go On.” In 1999, the band released their greatest hits album.
