Wilco Tickets Wilco is a rock group that was formed in 1994. Many of the members were from a country group called Uncle Tupelo. Once the band disbanded, they formed the group Wilco. Since that time, Wilco has experienced a good number of member changes. In fact, the only original members from the group are Jeff Tweedy on vocals and John Stirratt on base guitar. The rest of the group includes Pat Sansone, Mikael Jorgenson, Nels Cline and Glen Kotche.

Since the band's inception in 1994, they have been pretty busy and quite prolific. They have recorded and released six studio albums, one live double album and three collaborations. Two of those collaborations were with Billy Bragg and one with The Minus Five.
Besides member changes, the band has also experienced other controversy. In 2002, they recorded an album titled, Yankee Hotel Fox Trot. the record label did not like the album and dropped Wilco from its’ roster. However, they did give Wilco the rights to the album at absolutely no cost. Wilco put the album on their website and then they sold it to another recording company called Nonesuch Records in 2002 . The album went on to sell over 500,000 copies and was certified Gold. In 2004, Wilco released another album, called A Ghost is Born. It went on to win two Grammy awards.
In 2006, the group recorded Sky Blue Sky. They released one song on the album for free to the public. The track was titled, What Light. They also sold the song and allowed it to be used in a Volkswagen commercial. There was some backlash by some fans and critics for this move. However, upon release in May 2007, the album sold very well. In fact, it reached number five on the charts. It also went on to be nominated for a Grammy award for Best Rock Album.
