Kansas City Royals Tickets
The Kansas City Royals are a professional baseball team. They are member of Major League Baseball. They were established in 1969 and play in American League Central division. The Kansas City Royals were an expansion franchise in 1969, and were originally owned up by Ewing Kauffman, who was a businessman in Kansas City, Missouri. The 1980’s saw fan favorite and Kansas City baseball legend, George Brett in his dominance. There was one incident however, which was labeled the pine tar incident where George Brett after hitting a

home run, the umpires discover illegal pine tar, Brett was ejected from the game and the home run didn't count. After being ejected, George Brett stormed the field to protest his innocence. This is one of the incidents that you'll see on many baseball replays.
In 1985, led by Brett Saberhagin, the royals faced interstate rival, the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series and won it in seven games. That win was the royals first and only World Series championship title. The 1990’s saw outstanding players such as Bo Jackson, who was a two sport athlete. He played in the NFL, as well as in MLB. Tom Gordon and Kevin Seitzer were also outstanding players during this period. From the mid-1990's until today, the royals have struggled. Their esteemed owner, Ewing Kauffman, passed away in 1993. Due to a tight budget, many of the club's upcoming talent had to be traded, Jermaine Dye, Kevin Appier and Johnny Damon, who are doing very well at other clubs, started out their careers with the Kansas City Royals, but the team didn't really have enough money to keep them and allow them to further develop.
In 2002, the Royals lost an astonishing 101 games and the manager for that team was fired. Tony Pena was brought in. In 2007, the manager Buddy Bell, resigned after the season. He was replaced by Trey Hillman, who was the manager of a minor-league team for the New York Yankees. He will be the 15th manager in Royals history.
